Take I-40 West, turn off at Exit 27 (US 23/74). Stay on US 23/74 (do not take US 19 to Maggie Valley) passing Waynesville and Sylva.

Continue on US 74/441 North towards Cherokee & Bryson City for 3 miles after Exit 81 (do not take exit) (US 23/441 South), and you will see an Exxon and a Super Track Gas Station on your right. Turn left and go across the bridge (Barkers Creek Road).

After 0.2 miles on Barkers Creek, take the "Y" to the right (Thomas Valley Road).

Go 1.1 miles on Thomas Valley Road, turn left on Nations Creek Road. Go 0.3 miles on Nations Creek Road (You cannot see the Inn from the road) and turn right into a gravel driveway (Lone Oak Drive) just in front of a miniature Chalet. After going 200 feet and crossing over the creek, take the right fork (don't worry it turns to concrete shortly) 300 yards to The Chalet Inn.

Take I-85 North out of Atlanta to I-985 North which turns into US 23.

Continue on US 23 which will join US 441. Stay on US 23/441 through Clayton, GA, pass Franklin, NC, and through Dillsboro NC (one stoplight).

Going up the mountain after the Dillsboro stoplight get in the left lane and take US 74 in the direction of Bryson City and Cherokee.

Go 3 miles on US 74 and you will see an Exxon and a Super Track Gas Station on your right. Turn left and go across the bridge (Barkers Creek Road).

After 0.2 miles take the "Y" to the right, Thomas Valley Road.

Go 1.1 miles, turn left on Nations Creek Road. Go 0.3 miles on Nations Creek Road (You cannot see the Inn from the road) and turn right into a gravel driveway (Lone Oak Drive) just in front of a miniature Chalet. After going 200 feet and crossing over the creek, take the right fork (don't worry it turns to concrete shortly) 300 yards to The Chalet Inn.

Take I-40 East, turn off at Exit 27 (US 23/74). Stay on US 23/74 passingWaynesville and Sylva.

Take US 64/74 East, to Murphy, NC continuing on US 19/129 through Andrews continuing on US 19/74 passing Bryson City and Whittier.

When US 441 joins US 74 continue on US 74 (East) / 441 (South) towards Sylva & Dillsboro for approximately 5 miles, and you will see a Super Track and an Exxon Gas Station on your left. Turn right and go across the bridge (Barkers Creek Road).

After 0.2 miles on Barkers Creek, take the "Y" to the right (Thomas Valley Road).

Go 1.1 miles on Thomas Valley Road, turn left on Nations Creek Road. Go 0.3 miles on Nations Creek Road (You cannot see the Inn from the road) and turn right into a gravel driveway (Lone Oak Drive) just in front of a miniature Chalet. After going 200 feet and crossing over the creek, take the right fork (don't worry it turns to concrete shortly) 300 yards to The Chalet Inn.

Take I-85 South/West, turn off at Exit 10B Shelby (US 74 West). Stay on US 74 to I-26, Take I-26 North to I-40 West.

Take I-40 West, turn off at Exit 27 (US 23/74). Stay on US 23/74 (do not take US 19 to Maggie Valley) passing Waynesville and Sylva.

Continue on US 74/441 North towards Cherokee & Bryson City for 3 miles after Exit 81 (do not take exit) (US 23/441 South), and you will see an Exxon and a Super Track Gas Station on your right. Turn left and go across the bridge (Barkers Creek Road).

Take US 441 (South) into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and continue on US 441 (South) to Cherokee.

Leave the park and contiue through Cherokee, when US 441 seems to dead-end at a stoplight in front of a stone church with a KFC on your right, turn right. At the next stoplight turn left: you are still on US 441 (South).

When US 441 joins US 74 continue on US 74 (East) / 441 (South) towards Sylva & Dillsboro for 4.5 miles, and you will see a Super Track Gas Station and an Exxon on your left and a new bridge and an old steel girder bridge on your right. Turn right and go across the new bridge (Barkers Creek Road).

After 0.2 miles on Barkers Creek, take the "Y" to the right (Thomas Valley Road).

Go 1.1 miles on Thomas Valley Road, turn left on Nations Creek Road.
